Canadian Solar panel prices in Pakistan depend on the exact module, rated watts and seller. Public dealer listings reviewed on 25 October 2026 included a 585W TOPCon panel at Rs. 23,810, a 620W double-glass TOPCon panel at Rs. 24,738, and a 710W bifacial product at Rs. 30,885. These amounts come from particular dealer advertisements collected by a market tracker. They are not nationwide fixed prices, and they exclude any unlisted transport, installation or inverter costs.
Canadian Solar product families: what the names mean
Canadian Solar sells several module ranges worldwide, including TOPBiHiKu and TOPHiKu families. The manufacturer’s published module downloads include model-specific datasheets for TOPBiHiKu6 and TOPBiHiKu7 N-type TOPCon bifacial modules. A dealer’s generic label “Canadian 585” does not identify the actual model code, glass layout or electrical specifications.
| Module range or format | Primary distinction | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| TOPBiHiKu6 | Bifacial N-type TOPCon designs in multiple wattage classes | Manufacturer code, wattage, front/rear performance ratings |
| TOPBiHiKu7 | High-output bifacial series with larger-format modules | Physical size, handling weight and appropriate structure |
| TOPHiKu6 | Monofacial N-type TOPCon module family | Front-side output, dimensions, model-specific warranty |
| Older HiKu/BiHiKu models | Earlier cell and module designs still seen in older quotes | Production age, import documents and exact stock condition |
Do not assume that “TOPCon”, “bifacial” and “double glass” are synonyms. TOPCon describes a type of solar-cell contact design; bifacial indicates the possibility of rear-side generation; double glass describes encapsulation. The actual feature combination appears on a model’s datasheet.
How to compare a 585W panel with a 710W panel
The price per watt makes the comparison fairer. A Rs. 23,810 quotation for 585W is roughly Rs. 40.7/W. A Rs. 30,885 quotation for 710W is Rs. 43.5/W. The larger module offers more nameplate power per panel but, in these particular listings, costs more per rated watt.
Size and compatibility may matter more than nominal watts. Large 710W panels can be harder to handle on small or awkward rooftops. Their current and voltage must match the installer’s approved string design. Fewer panels does not automatically mean lower installation cost if mounting, lifting or layout requirements become more complicated.
How bifacial modules affect the buying decision
A bifacial panel can use light arriving at its back, but the benefit is highly dependent on installation conditions. A raised frame over a reflective surface gives the rear side more opportunity to collect light than a panel held close to an opaque roof. A dealer promising an identical percentage uplift for every house is not providing a site-specific calculation.
For normal household installations, begin with an honest appraisal of roof area, shadows, planned tilt, daily electricity consumption and inverter capacity. Compare the costs of your actual proposed module quantities rather than buying the physically largest plate by default.
Warranty, authenticity and after-sales responsibility
Canadian Solar publishes model-specific product information, manuals and warranty references through its own downloads centre. The correct duration and coverage depend on the exact product, sales channel and applicable documentation. Ask who will handle a claim locally, what proof of purchase is required and whether transport, dismantling and refitting are covered. Do not treat a web page’s warranty headline as an unconditional promise by a Pakistani dealer.
Inspect the panel’s official label and compare its model number and serial information with the invoice. Avoid mixing modules with different electrical characteristics in the same string without a qualified designer’s approval. When buying multiple panels, keep evidence of every serial number, not just one photograph of the carton.
Why a panel-only quote is not the total project cost
Solar panels are just one part of an installed system. The full quotation should include suitable inverter(s), mounting rails, earthing, cabling, protective devices, connectors, labour, transport, commissioning and any permitted metering/approval expenses. Backup operation requires equipment capable of islanding and a suitable battery or other approved backup arrangement, where applicable.
A 10-panel array of 585W modules has a nameplate capacity of 5.85kWp. The module subtotal would be ten times the price of that exact 585W model, but the installation total will be greater. The nameplate figure is not a guarantee of a constant 5.85kW output across every hour of the day.
Where to verify Canadian Solar prices
The Canadian Solar retailer listing tracker aggregates multiple publicly available Pakistani offers and gives individual panel prices. Use it as a comparison starting point, then ask dealers for a dated written quote. Confirm the exact module string against Canadian Solar’s published datasheets instead of relying only on shop wording.
For other brands with similar wattages, compare the Jinko prices and LONGi prices. Ensure that the technology, availability, warranty and installation scope are comparable when making a final decision.
Questions before ordering
Are Canadian Solar panels manufactured only in Canada?
The company is internationally operated and sources products through a global manufacturing network. Do not infer manufacturing location from the brand name; inspect the actual module label and documents.
Are 710W modules automatically best for every home?
No. Roof geometry, access, mounting loads and inverter compatibility must be checked before choosing a larger module.
Does the price include battery backup?
Usually not. Unless the seller itemizes backup equipment within the quote, a panel price should be treated as the cost of that module alone.
