Ceiling and pedestal fan prices in Pakistan vary by the type of fan, blade sweep, motor technology, power rating and features such as a remote control. Fan sizes and motor technologies
Ceiling fans are often described by blade sweep, such as a 56-inch class, while pedestal fans are described using a smaller fan-head sweep, often in inches. Sweep describes the circle traced by the blades, not the height of the appliance. Select the size for the actual room and check clearances under the manufacturer’s mounting instructions.
Traditional AC fans and electronically controlled inverter or BLDC fans can have very different rated power consumption. A 75 W fan used for the same eight hours would use 0.6 kWh. Actual consumption varies with speed, controls and measured running conditions, so these figures are calculations rather than claims about an unnamed product.
For monthly planning, multiply daily kWh by the number of days of use. The monetary saving then depends on the applicable electricity tariff and taxes on your bill. Use your real tariff rather than quoting a fixed national “monthly saving” for every household.
Price factors buyers often overlook
Motor type, blade material, remote-control electronics, size, finish, spare-parts availability and warranty conditions can all affect a quoted selling price. Installation charges may be separate from a ceiling fan’s shop price. A pedestal fan might include its stand and guards but still have additional delivery fees when bought online.
