Huawei is set to launch its first foldable smartphone, the Huawei P50 Pocket, this year. This flagship device will be a clamshell foldable smartphone that is expected to offer top-notch performance and features.
The Huawei P50 Pocket will be powered by a Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888 4G chipset, with a 2.84 GHz Octa-Core processor. This powerful combination of hardware means that users can expect lightning-fast performance and seamless multitasking.
The device will feature a foldable AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display, measuring 6.5 inches and offering a resolution of 1188 x 2790 pixels. With a RAM capacity of either 8 or 12 gigabytes, the P50 Pocket will be able to handle demanding tasks with ease. Additionally, its internal storage capacity of 128 or 256 gigabytes provides ample space to store all your data.
On the back of the device, there is a triple camera setup, including a 40-megapixel main camera and 13-megapixel and 32-megapixel secondary cameras. On the front, there is a 10-megapixel selfie camera. The P50 Pocket also comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for added security.
Finally, the device is powered by a Li-Po non-removable battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh, offering enough backup time. The battery supports fast charging of 40W, so you won’t have to wait long for it to charge up.
With the Huawei P50 Pocket, Huawei is looking to challenge other smartphone companies, including Samsung, by bringing innovative features to the foldable smartphone market.
